The Oklahoma Tobacco Settlement Endowment Trust has established the Oklahoma Center for Adult Stem Cell Research to promote research in the emerging field of adult stem cell research. Oklahoma’s universities, research foundations and biotechnology companies are fortunate to have many world-recognized investigators who conduct research with adult stem cells. This new entity will catalyze their work in numerous ways, leverage resources obtainable from traditional funding agencies and help attract additional talent to our State. The overall goal is to build Oklahoma excellence in one of the fastest growing areas of medical research and serve as a trusted resource for public information.
