Engineering Human Vascular Organoids for Regenerative Medicine

Description:
The formation of stable, functional blood vessels remains a major bottleneck in regenerative medicine and cell therapy. In this talk, I will present our recent work on engineering human vascular organoids from pluripotent stem cells using a novel strategy that enables rapid and coordinated activation of key vascular fate-determining transcription factors. I will discuss how this approach recapitulates essential features of human vascular phenotype and organization, and how vascular organoids can serve both as a platform to study human vascular biology and as a therapeutic strategy to promote revascularization and tissue repair in ischemic settings.
